10 Parenting TipsThe most important thing in the life of parents is not only raising a healthy child but making sure that the child grows up to become a productive member of society. This is the most difficult of all jobs on the face of the earth. Let me list you some parenting tips to raise your child into an emotionally healthy member of society in future. There are totally 10 in number.1. Make sure you understand your child?s behavior as this helps in making sure that you reinforce good behavior where ever and whenever necessary.2. Encourage Positive behavior in your child as this works better. Whenever the child behaves badly instead of punishing the child just ignore it as the results will be far more positive.3. It is very difficult to cope with your child?s bad behavior. Your child needs to understand the consequences of bad behavior so establish house rules.4. If things really get out of hand then simply take 5 deep breaths as this will give you a chance to evaluate the situation before you too lose your cool.5. Never hit or yell or use name calling at your child as this will hurt your child more and set a bad example.6. If you find your child?s behavior needs disciplining then use time out. This means putting them in a place where they sit quietly without any activity for a short period of time.7. If you feel completely out of control because of your child?s bad behavior then get out of the house immediately. Go for a walk, exercise, etc. but after making sure someone is over at your house taking care of your child.8. Children are quick learners. So teach them how to respect from a very young age. 9. Make your child feel that he or she is the most important person in your life. Showing that you care about them brings out many good qualities in the child. Spend quality time with your child.10.
