Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or ADHD is a mental condition found in some   children all over the world. A child with ADHD can be hyperactive, totally inattentive and impulsive at times. However, to label every child who demonstrates the above traits as with ADHD is highly inaccurate.Children being children will be hyperactive, impulsive at times in some situations. A child may also seem to be inattentive, it could be because, and he doesn't want to pay attention. A look at the ADHD statistical data will convey an alarming trend; however, assumption is also a large contributor to this figure. To be fair, let us not put a child in ADHD care just out of a need to control the child.

Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) daydream frequently is characterized by leading to inattention in classrooms or in any activity. Inattention is the decisive diagnostic criteria for ADD. The general perception on ADD is that victim daydream because they lack concentration ability, which isn't very correct. They can't pay attention to something, which is boring. Adders are extremely intolerant to boredom. A daydream many a times is more stimulating, then whatever activity being carried out. The disorder ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) or ADHD (Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder) as it is called now has a history of around 100 years, dating back to early 1900's. Defining ADHD has always been difficult for the medical fraternity around the globe. Prior to renaming, it was known as the disorder of inattention, impulsivity and hyperactivity and was usually believed to be caused by poor parenting. Cases of this disorder were found earlier too when it used to be called "Morbid Defect of Moral Control" or "Minimal Brain Dysfunction". The symptoms were first noticed in children in 1900's. The behaviors related to this disorder have been under extensively studied for more than 50 years now.
