The fibromyalgia disease is a chronic fatigue syndrome that leaves that patient with many painful symptoms. FMS disorder is such a condition in which the sufferer experiences pain in different areas of the body and it persists for many months. The FMS patient is always under stress and cannot get adequate sleep which then generates additional symptoms for the patient. The pain in the FMS disorder is found in the joints, bones, and the muscles of the sufferer. The FMS disorder affects more women than men and it seems to run in the family when it is found in women. The disease attacks patients from the age of twenty to fifty and especially women are in their childbearing stage. The total percentage of the disease in the population is around three to five percent. There is no any fixed criterion for the diagnosis of the FMS condition but the American College of Rheumatology has devised certain points by which the FMS disease can be detected and treated. The FMS disorder does not have any cure as yet so the sufferer has to depend mainly on the conventional treatment that uses the anti-inflammatory and nonsteroidal drugs, but there are also other ways to treat the disease in more effective way like the Yoga therapy, and other natural ways that use the natural healing methods.
