Healthy diet:"An easy way to a disease free and healthy life"




In today's world where there is a huge scarcity of time in everybody's life, having a health which is free of any type of disease or ailment is very important. Along with the physical activity which one performs, the diet also plays a vital role in maintaining the accurate weight of an individual. Overweight or obesity eases the way to many serious heart problems, stroke and even high blood pressure. Having a healthy diet often comes last in our day to day preferences. Everyone today wants to have something which is easier and faster to cook and at the same time should be satisfying in taste. Nobody cares to have some more effort in order to have that accurate amount of nutrition's in their food so as to call it a healthy diet. But if by making those simple changes to improve the overall diet if one can lead a healthy and tension free life then it's not at all a bad deal.

By healthy diet we mean a diet which is in exact proportion of each and every vitamin and mineral which are required for the normal growth of an average human being. One should concentrate on the amount of fruit intake per day along with various green and leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables are an essential component of the diet of every person and hence they must be taken in accordance with the average daily requirement. In addition to these one must not neglect calcium and protein rich food along with some amount of whole grains like cereals, rice, breads, crackers, pasta etc. The diet of a person must consist all these above mentioned food products to be termed as a healthy diet.

Consuming a healthy diet will help an individual to maintain his or her weight in a healthy range which means the weight matches perfectly to the body structure. A healthy diet will also enable a human being to have a balanced food with foods from all food groups. The food which goes in will be less in calories from the added sugar and will be very less sin sodium and salt. It will also regulate the average intake of alcohol and restricts it to maximum of one drink per day. There are many types of fats like monounsaturated, polyunsaturated and many types of saturated fats.

Some of these fats adversely affect our health while others are not that bad. Thus a healthy diet also helps a person to maintain the average intake of fats into the body. In this way the only way to stay and feel healthy in a scenario where everyone is prone to many types of diseases and ailments is to follow a strict healthy diet which will not only help you feel that added sense of relief but will also give a boost to your personality in some way or the other.
